"R E A L I Z A T I O N"
1. SriHarim, the destroyer of Ignorance – During meditation, the field of relative levels (ignorance alone) gets fine tuned repeatedly to experience finer levels and which finally give rise to Eternal Bliss, the Transcendental State, the Supreme Consciousness, - Paramanandham. Therefore “SriHarim Paramanandam” brings out and refers to the state which Sankara had experienced in his deep transcendence, and which is possible and lively to everyone who seeks to reach him. Upon reaching this state, he realizes the guru within (Consciousness is the Guru which guides as a charioteer). This is what is explained here as “Upadheshtaram” (Upadheshta + Rm = One who Teaches, teacher). In a broader sense, it is the intelligence within, who creates, administers, maintains, and recreates the ever evolutionary process. This we call it as the “Natural Law”or “Ishwara”. This natural law is the law maintainer and is ever pervading and hence Sankara say’s “Vyapakam Sarva Lokanam”. And it is only with the support of this intelligence, the force of nature, the law of nature, the administrator, our action will constitute for a healthy future. It is how we act now, we become then, which means we are the cause of our own destiny, every moment depend on us. It is one’s own ignorance of the true nature, which fails to understand the true light and cause of everything around – to understand the truth behind all causes “karanam tham”. (Now referring to Maharishi’s quote “Man is the master of his destiny”). Therefore having realized this truth Sankara respectfully proclaims to bow down his head in deep gratitude for the ever pervading Easwara or natural law – “tham Namayaham” with whose grace he was able to realize this truth.

Knowledge Behind Bivashtakam - A Powerful Shiva Sthothram
There was a hunter by name Suswara, who used to hunt many animals and birds in the forest. This was his life style for everyday. He was born at VARANASI. One day he was chased by a hungry lion. The hunter unknowingly climbed a Bilva tree to save himself from the lion. He then had to wait the whole night to save himself from the Lion. Since he had to stay awake to avoid falling from the tree, the hunter kept plucking the leaves of the Bilva tree and dropping them below. The leaves fell on the Shiva Linga that happened to be located under the tree. Shiva was pleased by the offering of the Bilva leaves by the hunter, although unintentionally, and saved the hunter in spite of all the sin the hunter had committed by killing. This story emphasizes the auspiciousness of worshipping Shiva with Bilva leaves on Shivaratri.
The story above is an Parable or we may say as an allegory. Just as the hunter sought to kill wild animals, the spiritual seeker tries to transcend lust, anger, greed, infatuation, jealousy and hatred. The jungle mentioned denotes the mind where all these negativities roam about. A spiritual aspirant must kill these so referred "animals" to be free.
The name of the hunter - Suswara, itself has a hidden indication which means "one of melodious voice." Melody here indicates speech, with a level of mental purity.
Further to the above, as we knew that the hunter was born in Varanasi. Vara refers to the forehead while nasi is the nose. The point where both meet is Varanasi, in other words, the point midway between the eyebrows. This point is also called the ajna chakra and is regarded as a nexus of the three nadis: ida, pingala and sushumna. Gain of the energy at this level, A spiritual aspirant in his or her mind gains good concentration and gradual control over his senses. The killing of the animals thus indicates highest control over one's vasanas [latent tendencies].
The bilva tree corresponds to the spinal column. The tree's leaves are special: each stalk has three leaflets. The three leaflets represent the three nadis mentioned above. The climbing of the tree represents the ascent of the kundalini shakti (Maharishi Says that even without the knowing of the kundalini rising, the TM Siddhi meditator awakens the kundalini shakthi from the muladhara to the ajna chakra).
Keeping awake is symbolic of the kind of awareness and oneness of purpose that a spiritual aspirant needs to reach the goal. He cannot afford to be slack even for a moment.
Shiva is the Supreme Consciousness that illuminates the three states of waking, dreaming and deep sleep. Offering the threefold bilva leaves to the Shivalinga heralds the return to a level of consciousness beyond the three states, which is the fourth state, Transcendental State. The dawning of this state reflects the awakening of the individual to CC, GC and UC.

"Unfathomable is the Course of any Action"
Success and failures are two phases of life. When we are successful, we believe that we are responsible for it. When we face failures, we believe that we are not responsible for it. To my knowledge, we should accept honestly that whether it is a success or failure, we actually do not know whoever is responsible for the result. It could be somettimes "me alone" or it could be the "team's collective effort"...and so on...
Because "Unfathomable is the course of any action". We seldom understand the result of any of our action (success or failure). But one thing is possible for all of us to do and that is plan our action...in tune with the natural law...the constitution of the natural law. If we are efficient enough to bring the experience of the nature in the course of our action, it is believed that our efforts will never go wrong. Now, when we analyse deep and also with the help of our scriptures we understand that "the nature of the almighty is bliss" and by the experience of many enlightened souls, it is understood that the bliss is available in abundance in the state of the least traces of creation. Hence, we further understand that if we could bring the experience of the bliss in our day to day life, we could execute all our actions in tune with the nature of bliss. And thereby all our actions will be in tune with the constitution of natural law. The actions then will be automatically free from mistakes. Because with a stressful mind, it is more difficult to execute a stressless, perfect and good action. It is only possible to execute such actions with a pure and blissful mind, which is the mind of an enlightened soul.Therefore it is first necessary for us to bring ourselves to a platform of purity and bliss.
There is nothing wrong in following a code of conduct.As we know the proverb "Something is better than nothing". But what we require is to sharpen our mind and intellect to follow the good code of conducts, more precisely and profoundly. And to do this, all we require is an exercise to keep our mind and body profoundly precise in order to execute all the right course of actions but, spontaneously. And for this, all we have to do is practice of Transcendental Meditation with TM Siddhi, regularly twice a day. This gives the experiencer to act spontaneously in attune with the natural law.

"Death of the Death"
Amarnath Yathra, has become a memorable one for most of us. We had an opportunity to strongly believe the divine presence of the natural law. We understood the omnipresence of Shri GuruDev and Shri Maharishji. What more to add? Those moments are still vivid.
Right from the day we started to plan, six months back of planning to Badrinath and Kedarnath, the neck of the moment shifted all our decisions to Amarnath. As it was purely the clariant call of Amarnath the manifestation himself. It striked all of us to confirm the visit, only when we further heard Maharishiji glorifying the significance of Shrine Amarnath.
It seemed that the entire journey was preplanned and designed for all of us, by some set of experienced souls(Gurudev and Maharshi), who should have had a very strong Vedic Engineering background. I am talking about the Mahatma's, living there. Otherwise we would have got diverted routes. Certain experiences are very difficult to share even by words, because we may not be doing full justice to the almighty. Therefore we keep them within our boundaries of experience.
Infact, Everyone in the tour had experienced deep insights, divine presence, surprise visits, or whatever more supporting words you could add.
We were all guided unconditionally at every steps. Sometimes men came to our rescue. Sometimes, even Trains came to our need. These experiences had brought us out to a conviction that, God is present in the living and as well present in the non living. He is inseperable.
The trip had added and flavoured all our participants for a better future, for a different experience and for understanding the "miracles". We have all known the word Amarnath theoretically, but now after visiting the shrine, we have all experienced it practically.

All Glory to the Real, Enlightened Mahatmas.

"Self Referral Consciousness"
H.H.Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, used to quote very often " The quality of Control is possible only for strong minds, because weak minds, trying to control,result in more stress." Therefore first it is necessary for us to develop and enhance to lead ourselves to a platform, from where the control of anything becomes very easy, very natural and spontaneous.
Scientific researches had reported that people practising Transcendental Meditation and TM Siddhi throughout and until today had shown positive outcomes. Meditators naturally tend to overcome their wrong attitudes and behaviours.
"When there is darkness around you, instead of searching for anything else,first you have to do is to lit a lamp, as then your search becomes easy and simple" - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
"Thraigunya vishayo veda, Nisthraigunyo Bhavarjuna,"
When you understand this above verse, extracted from Bhagavat Gita - Chapter 2 verse 45, we understand that all our actions are the permutation combination of the three gunas (Rajas, Tamo and Sathva). Therefore, we should lead ourselves to that field, where there is no binding influence of any of the three gunas, and that field is the unified field(according to quantum physics) the transcendental field (in the vedic terms), the self of everyone, which lies within. We should all without wasting our time, should learn to meditate in such a way,by which we learn to stay and experience the transcendental field for a good long time and by which we develop a way to bring our mind to experience the field, free from the influence of the gunas, evoid of dualities, which would further get infused with the mind and then get expressed into a perfect (any)activity, - "Yogasthah Kuru Karmani" - which means that "Perform your action, in the state of yoga"
Instead of this abovesaid, whatever we say, however we struggle, it is impossible for anyone to control and change our attitudes which is at the level of mere thinking.
Maybe all that we say, could be nice to share but in reality unless and until one spends time in the practice, it is all in vain. Transcendental Mediation and TM Siddhi is such a method which leads our mind to experience, the subtler and subtler layers,until the mind at a stage, transcends itself, the experiences of the subtlest, the field of the source of the creations. At this level, we experience the consciousness itself and nothing else. Maharishi used to refer this stage as the "Self referral consciousness".

Absolute Words uttered once never changes
Beautiful it is, and it was, when recollected, the voice of Swami Vivekananda which was heard yesterday night. It would have been a childhood dream for any spiritual seeker of my cadre for the same. Infact, my spiritual journey was lighted by this very master. I still remember my childhood days with my uncle and grandma, who used to take me to the kali temple (dhakshineshwar) and Vivekananda ashram temple at Belur Mutt. I used to stare at the unknown personality, for long minutes, used to sit at the belur mutt for hours together, until the dominant, elderly call would come to me to take leave.The book that created a change in my thinking was the book gifted to me by my uncle. The title of the book was "The power Of mind' written by swami vivekananda. However the language were so high sounding, but I somehow understood the language with the help of dictionary. This was sometime during 1986 or 1987. I somehow loved the solitude at Belur Mutt right from that time onwards, but I never knew that it was inborn until I had experienced it by the practice as given by H.H.Maharishji. I never knew that, I would be pulled into the ocean of spiritual science, after such unexpected chain of incidents. I remember that I have really thought for a while earlier, to hear the voice of swami Vivekananda. Now after hearing him, I think that the proverb should be actually re-understood or re-told, atleast after considering his speech, that his voice is mightier than the sword or a pen. His expressions were so piercing that even without understanding the utterances; it would be possible for anybody to conceive the truth present in them.
What a great master he was, during those times. What a dominant voice he had. Really awesome..really awesome.
After hearing this, something strongly seemed to have notified me. It made me to think for a while about the remarkable eternal plan of the supreme energies to come back for the benefit of mankinds. Swami Vivekananda's vision seemed to be strategically accomplished by Sri Maharishi Mahesh Yogiji. We may call it as a Co-incidence or the will of God. Whatever may be the expressions, we are witnessing its continuity. What great masters are being witnessed in India? What a mix of spiritual intelligence? What heights they had reached? Great God…Great God…Highly divine…incomparable….What energy they have had? ….what unique methods they have adapted? What expressions they have embedded. Let us be proud to be born in this land of the Veda, as Maharishiji used to express the greatness of India very often….Jai guru Dev, All Glory to Gurudev, All Glory to the real masters of the Vedic Parampara.
