MAYA - the magic word

We happened to have a beautiful discussion today at the Maharishi garden. The topic was on "MAYA". Maharishi often used to refer to state of nothingness from which everything else arises. The quality of misunderstanding this state of nothingness as nothingness alone and misconceiving the quality of potentially latent memories and emergence of everything in a nutshell is referred to as "MAYA". The perceiver of this process, where he believes something, perhaps a part of which and is not aware of the rest is incomplete and fragmented is as well "Ignorant".The Knowledge is the sword that cuts aside ignorance.Knowledge is that which eradicates the concept of MAYA from the seer or perciever. He becomes pure and clearer like that of the clear water being filtered and obtained from muddy water. His knowledge of truth and reality gets more and more refined and results in pure thinking, which is the thinking, devoid of MAYA(that which is not). He sees the reality, the reality alone and he is free from duality, free from wrong perception and hence he detaches himself spontaneously from the experience of MAYA. He understands that he is not what he had percieved to be but he is beyond the vision of perceptions. He finds himself being hidden from different states and surface levels of consciousness - the waking, dreaming and sleeping states of consciousness and he understands his true nature which is nothing but the very self, the transcendental self.

Maharishiji on Madhuchandas

The other day I was listening to the commentary of Maharishiji on Madhuchandas. The expressions were so profound, so unique as it was even difficult to translate it or to re-express it in the same language. It seemed as if the energy was talking to us on its own reality. It provided deep insight between cosmic being and individual being. It explained the difference between the rishi, devatas and chandas. It enumerated the significant meaning of unmanifestations and manifestations. It was awesome. Fortunate are those who would listened to this wonderful discourse of Maharishji.

Vehicle that takes Beyond perceptions - TM

When TM or TM Sidhi, practiced regularly, we are at ease and we should never get hurdles in life. This is a serious statement. By our own experience,it is understood that the hurdles come and it goes, it has no permanant existence with us.And to establish this thought we need to experience a permanant state of peace within us everytime and everyday. But the state of peace to reside permanantly within us, we have to desire for this possession of the transcendental state in our mind. The desire here has to be closely associated with the practice.Mere desiring is not going to take us to that level of purity.Whether we like or dislike the pratice is necessary twice a day, just like we take medicine(whether we like it or not, we take it for the regaining of the health) The nature support is required only to help us to maintain the state of singularity of thought, the state of yoga, the state of transcendence - we may call it as we like. And when we do the practice regularly, the nature will certainly be harmonized and would automatically help us in all our endeavours.

To be more simple and precise let us understand what Maharishi often used to say "whatever is inside, it has to come outside and that is natural". Here by practicing TM Sidhi, we nurture and nourish our inner latent qualities of stresses and strains (subtle form of hurdles) and then glorify them.

By regular practice of TM (twice a day), it is possibe to wipe off all that is accumulated within us which had been responsible to percieve some experiences as "hurdles" in the day to day life. Gradually when we practice TM sidhi, the intentions becomes more refined, the thoughts becomes more nourished, the mind experiences pureness, the intellect becomes highly resolute and then we stop experiencing hurdles as hurdles and then we start experiencing bliss and happiness thoughout life.We also share it vibrantly with others.

Let us be constantly aware of the works of the mind.It is never permanant.Infact although we all know this, but still we get the feeling of hurdles just because of our own immaturity in understanding the play of mind and intellect and the lack of the experience of the absolute "Atma". It is therefore, by dedicated practice of TM and TM Siddhi,we gain a very profound experience of the "Atma" (by day to day pratice) and it is a very easy possibility to come out of any such difficulties in life.
